• Kia has revealed the all-new K4, a hatchback that blurs the line between the C- and D-segments with bold styling, generous space and advanced technology. Following the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, it features a floating roofline, Star Map Signature Lighting, hidden rear door handles and a new Sparkling Yellow paint finish.

At 4,440mm long and 1,850mm wide, the K4 offers class-leading rear legroom (964mm) and a useful 438 litres of boot space. Inside, drivers get a dual 12.3-inch panoramic display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with options including Harman Kardon audio, Digital Key 2.0 and heated and ventilated seats.

The engine range begins with a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol (115PS) paired to a six-speed manual gearbox. This unit can also be had with mild-hybrid technology and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. A 1.6-litre T-GDi with up to 180PS comes as standard with a DCT, and from 2026 a full hybrid will join the line-up.

Safety technology includes Highway Driving Assist 2.0, Smart Cruise Control 2, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and a 360-degree camera system.

The K4 will be built in Mexico and is expected in UK showrooms in late 2025, with pricing to be confirmed nearer launch.
