• Ford has unveiled the all-new, all-electric Ford Capri.

Derived from the Ford Explorer, Ford state new all-electric Capri is “exactly” how the iconic sports coupe would have evolved had it stayed in continuous production.

High specification is standard, with both front seats and steering wheel are heated for comfortable getaways on cold winter mornings. A driver’s seat massage function is also standard, as well as keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate control and a stylish soundbar on top of the dashboard. Capri Premium models add ambient interior lighting in 10 colours, a 10-speaker B&O Sound System and hands-free tailgate for easy access to the bootspace.

A choice of all-electric powertrains at launch includes a 286 PS rear-wheel drive with an extended range 82kWh battery delivering up to 389 miles of range (WLTP) and 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds.

Or a 340 PS all-wheel drive with an extended range 84kWh battery delivering up to 346 miles  (WLTP) and 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds.

The All-New Ford Capri is available to order now with prices starting at £48,075 OTR.
